Our values
Because we always have been very concerned by our planet and our oceans, GreenFix always had a sustainable approach on products developpement.
Our surf wax range is the most natural on the market without any compromises on their quality or their efficiency. They are made of natural, non-toxic and renewable ingredients such bees wax, vegetable waxes and vegetable oils. We always have excluded some ingredients used by most surf wax brands for their global impact on our environment such paraffin wax (petroleum wax), paraffin oil, microcrystalline wax, soy wax or palm oil.
In this regard, beware of the term "Natural Mineral wax" often used by some unscrupulous manufacturers which refers to synthetic manufacture ingredients derived from petroleum: paraffin and microcrystalline waxes. As such, the plastic also made from petroleum is “natural”.
Our wax box as our surf wax comb are made of Bamboo. We have chosen this material because of its environmental quality. This very fast growing plant is ecological. It doesn't need fertilizer or pesticides and can fix up to 30% more CO² than trees and therefore releases 30% more oxygen.
Our surf leash are a mix of recycled urethane cord with a choice of premium components to ensure a long lifespan and thus limit the impact linked to their recycling.
Our extra mild soaps (Surfer / Sailor / Explorer) are cold process soaps. They are made of organic olive oil, rich in vitamin E and very gentle due to white clay and their respective 8% superfat : sweet almond oil, shea butter or avocado oil.

When we started, the choice of local manufacturing was an evidence driven by our environmental and social beliefs.
Today, our workshop has the ability to produce 4000 bars of wax a day with a great attention to each stage of the production in order the reach our premium quality standards.
All production wastes are remelted
Since 2020, 18 solar panels on our roof provide 80% of our production energy needs
SOCIAL
Since 2010 we outsourced all our packaging and packing process to an integration program center* for people with disabilities, insuring them decent livelihoods in a benevolent community.
